Many hours of hard work saw the completion of the trail all the way around Cooper Creek Reservoir in 2022. 2023 is seeing more work on the LUMBR Landing flow trails as well as a short trail to make laps of LUMBR Landing possible. UVC / LUMBR plan to add mile markers around the lake as well as all trail signage so it is clear where you are. At the parking lot, we plan to have an information kiosk that will have a full map of the area plus space for up to date information.

UVC / LUMBR supports the local NICA mountain bike team, Umpqua Composite. This team of middle school and high school athletes competes in the Oregon league each fall. The team fosters the joy of riding a bike and is open to anyone regardless of ability. We support the training area at Champagne Creek. We know that cycling can be expensive, so we aim to support any student that is interested in giving the program a try.

The Umpqua Velo Club strives to encourage more people to find the joy in riding a bike.
